The title says it all. You can view the contents of a hide block when you hover the mouse over a thread title in forumdisplay.

However, when I go into the thread, I correctly see the hidden message:

Hmm... this has been fixed in past release. Strange. Thanks for pointing this out, will look into it. Which version of vBulletin are you running here?

This does not happen on a new test installation as well as here. So it must be that something was done wrong during the installation.
